A Sundanese restaurant with plenty of options, and the prices are affordable compared to the portion sizes. The baby fried fish was amazing. All the dishes were well-seasoned, and the sambals are spicier than usual. The nasi jeruk was also delicious. However, the bandrek susu was a bit too sweet for my taste. The service could be improved.

My family and I stopped by Warung Sunda Melayang after attending a relative’s wedding nearby. The restaurant is conveniently located by the roadside with a spacious parking area, which was a big plus. When we arrived, the place was quite empty, only one other family was dining, so we were a bit hesitant at first, but we decided to give it a try. We ordered the family package for 6 people, which surprisingly turned out to be enough for the 7 of us! The package cost IDR 330,000 and included nasi liwet, 3 grilled chickens, 3 fried beef (empal), black pepper squid, karedok, and some small crispy fish (not sure of the name). Drinks were not included, but there were plenty of drink options available, and they also provided free warm water. Altogether, with drinks and tax, we spent around IDR 450,000, very reasonable for 7 people. The food was delicious, especially the squid, hands down the best dish. The grilled chicken was also tasty, the thigh portion was perfect, though the breast was a bit thick but still flavorful. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. They have traditional floor seating (lesehan), beautiful views, and the cool, fresh air made it a great spot for a family gathering. Would definitely come back again!

The place are strategist, super cozy with a view and huge. Has big parking area. And has musholla and the toilet are clean. The food are so so but delicious, even it said the Nasi Liwet are free but not really free . The price is up to 6K+ for a beverage, and 20K+ for a food. I ordered Nasi Liwet Paket for 6 person, within price around 190++ (included Nasi Liwet, Ikan Asin, Sambal, Ayam Bakar/Goreng, Cumi Mentega, Lalapan Tahu and Bakwan). The Sate Maranggi is super tender and so GOOD~ The Otak-Otak is not for free, it has charged around IDR4K. Overall it's a recommend for family (and the toodler).

I came to try it out since the reviews seemed good. I ordered grilled fish, grilled chicken, and water spinach. The grilled fish was delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken was just average—the flavor didn't penetrate all the way through, and it tasted ordinary. The water spinach was completely unappetizing, below average. The view from the restaurant isn't breathtaking, but on a clear day you can see the mountain next door. It's passable, I suppose.
